to WWW or Not?

When creating a new website you might be wondering if you should use the WWW (www.example.com) or non-WWW (example.com) version?

It really does not matter, as long as you choose one and properly redirect the other one to it (this is very important for SEO).

If you have a hard time deciding between the two, we suggest you to use the WWW version, because, most DNS providers do not support CNAME record for the root domain (e.g. example.com) and using CNAME is our recommended way to point your domain to your account.

NOTE: Never change the www status after a site is established, even if the preference changes! — this could lead to redirect loop problem for returning visitors and even affect SEO ranking.
